Ukraine's Prison Service said on Wednesday that a medical check-up of jailed former prime minister Julia Tymoshenko showed her health was out of danger. "The results of Tymoshenko's examinations revealed no pathological changes that pose a threat to her life," the press office of Prison Service said in a statement. According to the report, Tymoshenko was taken to a Kiev hospital for medical examination Wednesday morning with the permission of President Viktor Yanukovych. The former prime minister was checked up on MRIs, X-rays and sonography. Ukraine's human rights envoy said on Monday that Tymoshenko, who was serving a seven-year jail sentence on charges of abuse of office, had "extremely serious" health problems.
