Egyptian singer Angham denied rumors about imitating internationally known singer Lagy Gaga in her new song “Seeptah”, stressing that there is a big difference between themin the look and style
.
Angham has also ruled out any comparison between Egyptian singers Amro Diab and Tamer Husni, saying that the history of Amro is much larger. She said that any comparison is unjust to Amro. Angham stated that she is very skeptical of the value of the international awards received by Amro and Tamer. She added that such awards mean nothing to her and are not her ambition, but rather what matters to her are awards given by her audience.
She added: "I do not know anything about the African Music Award obtained by Amro and Tamer and do not how they received them.”
According to the internet website MBC.net, Angham said that she does not consider any singer to have reached world popularity due to the difficulty of the Arabic language to foreigners.
Angham denied rumors that she has sung a new song in the Libyan dialect, stressing that she does not intend to go through such an experience at the current time.
