Egyptian actress Donia Abdel Aziz expressed her keenness to change her roles in each work in which she participates, stressing that she performed extremely different roles during her participation in drama shows during the latest drama seasons.
She added that she performed the role of a kind girl during her participation in “Bucharest Districts”, while traitor wife who kills her husband during her participation in “The Legend”. She also presented the role of false TV presenter during her participation in “Wanoos”, while a girl from Upper Egypt during her participation in “The Godfather”.
She blamed the lack of good scenarios for her absence from the Egyptian cinema for years, saying that she will not participate in any work whether in cinema or drama shows if she did not find the suitable role and scenario that would enrich her career as an actress. She stressed that she gives the priority to her fans, saying that she is keen to respect then through presenting the good and suitable roles.
She added that she seeks for the role that would provoke her to return to the cinema, saying that she did so when she returned to drama after years of absence. She stressed that she does not participate in any role just for existence while to meet the expectations of her fans in all over the Arab world.
She expressed her pleasure for her participation in “The President’s Shadow” which was presented during the latest drama season of Ramadan, saying that the TV series is considered fully different from the works in which she participated before. She turned to make serious changes in her shape to be suitable for the new role which will be surprise for the audience.
She added, in an interview with “Egypt Today”, that what attracted her to participate in the new series is the good scenario which is written in professional way. She also praised the efforts exerted by the production company to achieve success during the latest drama season, saying that they provided the necessary factors to achieve success.
She added that she participates in the new TV drama show "Game of Silence" scheduled to be presented during the coming Ramadan in participation with a large number of superstars. She added that she also participates in "Red Jasmine" TV series, saying that it is composed of 60 episodes.
She added, in an interview with "Egypt Today", that she accepted to participate in "Game of Silence" due to the presence of all factors of success praising the efforts exerted by the production company to ensure the success of its works.
 She praised her recent series "The Godfather" currently presented on a satellite channel. She also praised her participation in "Red Jasmine" TV drama show, saying that what attracted her to participate in the series is the scenario.
 She revealed that she performs a complicated and different role in the new series, stressing her keenness to diversify her roles. She said that she performs a role of Egyptian girl travelling abroad for study then returning to her country.
