Egyptian actor Khaled Saleh Cairo - Shima Mekkawi Egyptian actor Khaled Saleh told Arabstoday who has his vote in the presidential run-off election scheduled for June. “I am going to vote for Mohammed Morsi in the run-off election because Ahmed Shafiq is affiliated to the pre-revolution regime and I cannot take action against Shafiq except to support his rival candidate. I hope that the result of the revolution will produce a civilian president and not a military one. Unfortunately, Shafiq does not differ from Mubarak; both of them were air force captains and are indifferent to the revolution.” He added: "I don't want to vote for Mohammed Morsi because I like him or his programme, but I am compelled in order not to let Shafiq gain power.” Saleh he voted for Hamdeen Sabbahy "because he represents a balanced country for all." As for acting , he said: “I am now shooting '9 Gameet el Dewal' (9 Arab League Street) a show in which I play the role of a mechanical engineer who marries a lot and has a wife in every country...soon problems begin to appear. I hope the show will impress audiences in the upcoming Ramadan.” As for reports that his role is similar to a character he played in the show “Sultan el-Gharam”- (Sultan of Love), he replied: “The two characters and stories are quite different.”
