Syrian actress Jumana Murad
Syrian actress Jumana Murad said that her heart weeps for those that have died during the wave of protests taking place in Syria, demanding the current government resign.
She hopes and prays the chaos and violence ends, said Jumana.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Jumana said that she closely watches the events unfolding in Syria and is in contact with her friends and family in Syria to ensure they are safe.
On a different note, Jumana has been offered a number of projects and is currently reading scripts to select one.
Jumana is also waiting for the screening of her film “Kaf Al Qamar”, this summer season.
The film is directed by Khaled Yousif and stars Khaled Saleh, Wafa Amer, Ghada Abd Al Raziq, Hassan Al Radad and Haitham Zaki.
Jumana did give her final approval to star in the television drama “I’adat Nathar” (Another look) and a celebration for filming the first scenes has already taken place. The drama is scheduled to be aired during the upcoming Ramadan season.
