Jordanian actress Mais Hamdan Cairo – Mohammed Allouch Jordanian actress Mais Hamdan’s talk show “Sister Soup” will be broadcast at the beginning of November on MBC. She visited Dubai on her Eid holiday with her sisters. Mais will return to Cairo in the next few days. Hamdan said she hoped her television drama “Al Nar wal Teen” (Fire and mud) which aired last Ramadan would get the same number of views as her other series “Taraf Talet” (Third Party). The re-runs of the show are presented on Nile Drama channels. Hamdan plays Gawaher, a woman forced to be a dancer and who falls in love with Saad al-Dahhar. The show portrays her struggles, she said. The delays of her show “Kika Aal Aali” turned out to be for the benefit of the series because of a lot of competition during Ramadan, she said. Mais said her success in “Taraf Talet” (Third Party) was because of the show’s strong plot line about the Egyptian citizens during the revolution. “We strongly believed that we would get a large share of the viewers,” she said. Hamsan said she recently finished filming a music video for “Ma Oridoh” (What I Want) in Turkey, a song written by Ahmed Elwy, composed by Nasser al-Saleh and distributed by Hesham al-Sakran.
