Australian parents who are fans of the hit TV series Game of Thrones (GoT) are naming their babies after key characters in the epic fantasy show.
Five years ago, there were no registered names for Khaleesi or Kaleesi in the main Australian state of New South Wales (NSW).
Up to 16 babies last year were named that, apparently inspired by the Queen in the series which is based on the books by author RR Martin, according to a News Corporation report.
The NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages has also reported a tripling in the registration of Arya or Aria, after the headstrong and feisty daughter Arya in GoT's Stark family.
Last year, up to six baby boys born in NSW were named Tyrion, the clever and craft dwarf who is a major character in the series.
The fifth series of the HBO production is due to debut worldwide in world-wide time zones on Monday night.
