As many as 295 Egyptians returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing within the past 24 hours, Matrouh Security Chief Hisham Nasr said.
As well 145 trucks arrived at the terminal from Libya, he added in statements on Monday.
The returnees included 216 legal arrivals and 79 illegal arrivals, Nasr said.
Travel procedures for 824 people, including 284 Egyptians and 540 Libyans, have been finalized, Nasr added.
As many as 135 trucks laden with goods, foodstuffs, building materials and marble are ready to leave for Libya, he added.
