The second forum of the International Network of Emerging Library Innovators – Middle East and North Africa (INELI-MENA) kicked off here on Sunday under the sponsorship of Research and Information Services Systems Center at Cairo University's Faculty of Arts.
The five-day event aims at honing the skills of future leaders in public libraries of Arab countries and promoting cooperation among regional libraries associations, experts in the field of libraries and information centers.
In statements on Sunday, the INELI-MENA regional director Heba Ismail said that the forum includes a number of discussions and workshops besides lectures by foreign experts.
Field visits to Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Maadi and Misr public libraries will be organized, she reiterated.
