As many as 319 Egyptians returned home from Libya via Salloum crossing in the past 24 hours, Matrouh Security Chief Hisham Nasr said.
Out of all the returnees, 258 Egyptians left the country legally and 61 illegally, he noted in statements on Sunday.
Travel procedures for 888 people, including 225 Egyptians and 663 Libyans, have been finalized, Nasr said.
As many as 135 empty trucks to be loaded with Egyptian commodities arrived at the country via Salloum crossing over the past 24 hours, while 130 trucks laden with goods, foodstuffs, building materials and marble left for Libya, he added.
