Four persons have been killed and six others injured in different attacks, mostly targeted against security points in northern Baghdad, according to a security source on Monday. "A group of armed men have attacked a control point of al-Sahwa (Awakening) force in northern Baghdad's Aathamiya district, close to its Imam al-Aatham Mosque, killing two of its members and wounding two others, early in the day," the security source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. In a similar incident, the security source said that an Iraqi Army control point, close to al-Nu'man Hospital in Aathamiya district had witnessed the killing of a soldiers on Monday morning, when a group of armed men attacked an Army checkpoint. The same source said that an explosive charge blew off early in the day, close to Mawj al-Bahar Company in central Baghdad's Abu-Nawas Street wounding three civilians, who were driven to a nearby hospital.
