The Health and Population Ministry announced that the clinics of the Egyptian hajj medical mission have received 7,948 patients till Monday.
The cases included 6,677 ones in Mecca and 1,271 in Al Madinah Al Monawara.
As many as 18 cases were transferred to Saudi hospitals; six of them checked out after recovery, while 12 cases are still receiving treatment.
Kidney dialysis was carried out to 18 cases in Saudi hospitals, while four deaths were reported, the Health Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
In statements, the Head of the Egyptian Medical Hajj Mission Ahmed el Ansary underlined that no contagious diseases were discovered among Egyptian pilgrims till Monday.
All clinics are ready to receive patients 24/7, he reiterated.
