Egyptian Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Aati led on Friday Egypt's high-level delegation to the 2nd Delta Coalition ministerial conference, which kicked off here earlier in the day.
The two-day event aims at tackling challenges besetting deltas in the world, as well as exchanging expertise on that score.
The conference also aims to promote mutual cooperation and help member states of the Delta Coalition to obtain grants and assistance from donors, especially the Green Climate Fund.
The Delta Coalition is the world's first international coalition of governments created to get things done to increase the resilience of urban deltas.
