Al Azhar International Center for Electronic Fatwa said that it recently launched a new initiative called "Ask Al Azhar" in cooperation with the Ministry of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates' Affairs, to offer fatwas to Egyptians living abroad on various religious issues.
This feature will be launched in eight different languages on the Ministry of Immigration's online forum, the center said in a statement Thursday.
A group of young researchers from Al Azhar Observatory will be in charge of responding to questions by Egyptian expats, issuing fatwas, and dispelling misconceptions on Islam.
