Alexandria Ports Authority decided on Wednesday to continue closing Alexandria and Dekheila straits for the second consecutive day due to bad weather and high winds.
The decision was taken to prevent any collision of ships and ensure safety of the maritime navigation, Spokesman for the authority Reda Ghandour said.
Meanwhile, authorities in the Mediterranean city have taken all preparations to prevent the accumulation of rain waters as the city is being hit by a five-day gale
