The measures taken by the Arab quartet against Qatar remain unchanged as the four countries have not observed a positive reaction from Doha, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry said on Thursday.
Speaking at a press conference with his Portuguese counterpart, Shoukry said there is ongoing coordination at the level of foreign ministers and bodies concerned in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain to assess the situation and confront any threats against their national security from Qatari policies.
The four Arab countries will carry on their demands since the matter is related to their security, Shoukry stressed.
The Egyptian top diplomat further noted that the measures taken by the four countries bore fruit as stability has more or less been restored to the region.
