Spokesman for the Egyptian Armed Forces Colonel Tamer al Rifai said Sunday that the law enforcement forces of the Second Field army discovered and destroyed a number of Takfiri elements' hideouts in northern Sinai.
This comes as part of the forth phase of the Armed Forces' Martyr's Right Operation launched in the cities of Arish, Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid to eliminate the Takfiri elements' hideouts.
The spokesman said in a statement, the armed forces found weapons, ammunition and equipment used in the manufacture of improvised explosive devices (IED), in addition to cameras, electronic and communication devices, books and documents of Takfiri ideology.
Law enforcement forces of the Second Field Army carries out the Martyr's right Operations in cooperation with the police.
