Aswan Governor Magdy Hegazy is looking forward to boosting South Korean tourism in the governorate during the coming season.
Dring a meeting late Monday at the governorate with South Korean Ambassador to Egypt Yoon Soon-Gu, Hegazy thanked the diplomat for his keenness to visit the governorate and launch a host of cooperation projects in the governorate, including opening a Korean language department at Aswan University.
Yoon lauded a boost in the Egyptian-Korean ties, especially after President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's visit to Seoul last year.
The visit gave momentum to the Korean investments in Egypt, thus securing about 20,000 jobs.
