The finance and social solidarity ministries have allocated 70 million pounds to pay compensations to the victims' families and those injured in the terrorist attack, which recently targeted a mosque in North Sinai.
In a statement on Sunday, head of the social solidarity directorate in North Sinai Munir Abul Kheir said the Finance Ministry paid EGP 50 million of the total sum, while the Social Solidarity Ministry paid EGP 20 million.
President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ordered the government to allocate a compensation of EGP 200,000 for the families of each one killed in the attack. Also, every injured person would receive EGP 50,000.
