Egyptian-Sudanese relations are "unique" and the foreign minister of both countries agreed on holding continued meetings and maintain communication to avert tensions, said Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zied.
In a telephone interview to On Live channel, the spokesman said that the meetings of the joint Egyptian-Sudanese consultative committee are slated for August 1st in Khartoum instead of Tuesday.
A new date will be set for the consultative meeting due to the busy schedule of Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry who has emergency gatherings, the spokesman said.
The permanent agenda of the meetings include the way the media of both countries deal with bilateral issues, Abu Zied noted.
The regional developments and the Ethiopia Dam are among the topics that will figure high during the upcoming meeting, the spokesman added.
