Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry on Wednesday said Cairo and Paris have the will and are determined to push their strong ties to the highest level.
Speaking to MENA correspondent in Paris, Shoukry said the two countries have the will to build stronger ties in order to achieve goals of common interest.
Paris eyes closer ties with Cairo to coordinate efforts to overcome regional challenges, the minister said.
The two sides are expected to establish permanent channels of communications and to exchange visits to coordinate stances over the situation in Libya and fight against terrorism, he added.
The minister reiterated the importance of restoring stability in Libya and reaching agreement between rivals in the Arab country.
