Egypt plans to hold a real estate exhibition in the US in October, Minister of Immigration and Egyptian Expatriate Affairs Nabila Makram said.
In a press release on Tuesday, Makram said the ministry is coordinating efforts with the Housing Ministry to gear up for the event.
Makram said the conference will highlight major projects being implemented by the state, especially in the new Administrative Capital and other new cities.
Real estate companies will take part in the event to promote their projects.
She said the state is keen on keeping in touch with Egyptian expats and magnifying their contribution to national projects.
She added that the Egyptian community in the US is interested in buying housing units in Egypt and pumping investments into their homeland.
She said the Egyptian embassy in the US is ready to offer all needed facilities to render the event successful.
