Egyptian pilgrims performing the Hajj this year are all in good condition and no epidemic diseases have been reported, Head of the Egyptian tourist Hajj Mission in Al Madinah Al Munawwarah Abdel Nafea Saber said on Saturday.
No complaints have been received, he said.
Saber told MENA that the number of Egyptian pilgrims existing in Saudi Arabia in the first season reached 8500 while the number of pilgrims in the second season, which will start immediately after pilgrimage, will reach about 27,500.
There are two deaths among Egyptian pilgrims of hajj tourist mission in Al Madinah. The first one called Fatooma Abd el Aziz Al Gamal - who was 67 years old from Kom Hamada in Beheira, while the second was Aida Khalil, 65 years old from Cairo.
Needed procedures have been taken to bury their bodies in Al Madinah after communicating with their families, Saber noted.
Daily reports are delivered to Tourism Minister Yahya Rashid to follow up the condition of Egyptian pilgrims, Saber further said.
