A statement by the cabinet's media office said the cabinet began its meeting with observing one minute of silence in mourning of the victims of Alexandria train accident.
The Alexandria train collision left at least 41 people dead and 179 injured on Friday.
The cabinet, the statement said, reviewed the parliamentary agenda of the House of Representatives during the coming session to begin in October.
