Egypt's House of Representatives will debate 18 new bills during its coming parliamentary session to start in October, said Minister of Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Omar Marwan on Thursday.
At a press conference after a cabinet meeting, Marwan said the new bills are related to labor market and trade unions, tenders, youths and disabled persons, fighting electronic crimes, media and press.
The parliament will also continue debates over 50 bills that were submitted during the previous sessions, he added.
He said the cabinet began its meeting today with observing one minute of silence in mourning of the victims of Alexandria train accident.
Alexandria train collision left at least 41 people dead and 179 injured on Friday.
