The European Union has lifted the additional inspection imposed on Egypt's grapes exports following the newly-adopted quarantine procedures meant to maintain the quality of Egypt's produce, Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister Abdel Moneim el Banna said on Monday.
Member states of the European Commission-affiliate Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed (PAFF) in Brussels voted in favor of lifting the extra inspection on Egypt's grapes exports, in a new victory for Egypt and it's reputation in exporting high-quality crops, Banna said in statements.
Coordination is underway between the Agriculture Ministry and different nations to expound the new measures taken by Egypt in this regard.
Recently, Egypt has managed to end a ban imposed on its agricultural exports to Kuwait, Jordan, UAE, Bahrain and Australia
