Egyptian Ambassador to France Ehab Badawy said on Tuesday that fighting terror organizations is priority for Cairo and Paris.
The diplomat made the remarks during a ceremony held at the embassy in Paris to commemorate the July 23 Revolution anniversary.
The ceremony was attended by Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his French counterpart Jean-Yves Le Drian.
The Ambassador praised Le Drian for his efforts to bolster ties and boost strategic partnerships between the two sides.
Badawy underlined the key role played by the army, police and Al Azhar in defending moderate Islam and defeating terror.
