Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
Riyadh - Arab Today

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states have condemned the attack on United Arab Emirates civilian vessel near the port city of Aden, Yemen, while it was on a regular trip to transport humanitarian aid and evacuate the wounded and injured civilians, in order to complete treatment, in the UAE.

GCC Secretary General Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, reported by Saudi Press Agency (SPA), said that the GCC considers the attack as an act of terrorism that jeopardizes international navigation in Bab al-Mandab, exposing it to grave risk, as it runs contrary to international navigation laws and to regional and international efforts being made to send relief aid to the Republic of Yemen, in order to alleviate the suffering of the people of Yemen
