Commander of the Libyan National Army Khalifa Haftar said he is satisfied with the outcome of his meeting with Head of the Libyan Presidential Council Fayez al Sarraj in France.
He also expressed optimism over the signed agreement, saying that that its implementation would depend on goodwill and commitment to what was stated during the meeting.
Haftar told France 24 news channel that the Algerian and Tunisian initiatives led to one agreement like what happened in Paris on Tuesday, noting that the door was still open for any initiative that would contribute to a solution of the Libyan crisis.
Haftar, in the meantime, denied reports on Italy's concerns over the Paris agreement, adding that Italy was paying due regard to illegal immigration being the other face of terrorism.
