Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar held on Sunday a meeting with a number of his aides and security chiefs to discuss the fight against terrorism and preparations to secure Eidul Adha celebrations.
At the beginning of the meeting, the minister greeted the attendees on Eidul Adha feast and praised their efforts to maintain Egypt's security.
He further stressed the need for stepping up cooperation with other state institutions and Arab countries to face the threat of terrorism.
Abdel Ghaffar was briefed on the security plan prepared to secure celebrations of Eidul Adha, which is set to start on Friday.
He stressed the need for intensifying security presence nationwide during the feast.
