Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and UAE Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan received an Iraqi delegation led by Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al-Jaafari.
The two sides discussed current developments in Iraq and the Arab region as well as regional crises, particularly extremism and terrorism.
UAE News Agency (WAM) said that the meeting focused also on challenges facing the region and the importance of pan-Arab coordination, cooperation and solidarity to maintain regional security and stability.
The two sides also discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern and ways of strengthening bilateral relations to achieve joint interests.
