Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail arrived in Amman on Thursday to lead his country's delegation to the 27th session of the Egyptian-Jordanian Higher Committee.
Participants will review the implementation of what has been agreed upon in the committee's 26th session that was held in Cairo in August 2016.
They will also discuss a host of issues of mutual interest and means of boosting bilateral cooperation in the economic and investment fields.
The committee is also scheduled to discuss promoting cooperation between Cairo and Amman in the pharmaceutical field, along with increasing the number of flights between the two countries.
The two sides will also mull enhancing cooperation in the agricultural, labor, electricity and land transport domains.
A number of agreements and memorandums of understanding will be signed at the committee's meetings.
