An Israeli soldier and a settler were wounded in a stabbing operation that took place today afternoon at Hawara checkpoint near Nablus.
Israeli media reported that a Palestinian young man was shot by the Israeli occupation but managed to escape by claiming that he had stabbed a soldier at the Huwara military checkpoint south of Nabuls, while local sources said that an Israeli soldier was stabbed in the face, where he was shot but managed to escape.
There were conflicting reports about the injury of a settler, where local sources suggested that the settlement was shot by soldiers accidentally while the young man fled.
The occupation forces closed Hawara and Zaatara military checkpoints in full, and the area is witnessing widespread deployment of soldiers.
