The Israeli troops has spread wide along Shebaa farms early morning hours of Sunday along Lebanon's southern border, particularly facing Naqar pond, west of Shebaa, in anxious anticipation of the sit-in commemorating Naksa (setback) day, according to Lebanese National News Agency (NNA). Israeli infantry troops, protected by Merkavas, diffused in the hills of Sadana mountain accompanied by armored personnel carriers. Also notable was unusual activity in Aalam, Marssad and Samaqa. Lebanese airspace was not clear of Israeli violations either. Unmanned fighter planes kept a keen eye on the ground, amidst wide deployment of UNIFIL troops backed by Lebanese armed forces making sure that no violations take place and no one gets hurt, specifically in Kfarshouba hills, Naqar pond, and Shebaa. Leaders of the Naksa Day sit-in promised to commit to boundaries placed for their safety, particularly avoiding the barbed wire fence separating Lebanon from the occupied territories.
