The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, KF, has implemented part of its Ramadan programme in Bamako, capital of Republic of Mali under the supervision of the Islamic Cultural Centre in the city.
An official source at KF said that the foundation's Ramadan programme is in line with the directives of the wise leadership of the UAE. He added that the programme is being carried out in more than 60 countries for the benefit of the underprivileged.
He also noted that the philanthropic association organised group Iftars at the headquarters of the Islamic Cultural Centre in Bamako during the first week of Ramadan which were attended by more than 2,000 people.
Beneficiaries said that KF has played an important role during the Holy Month of Ramadan for the fourth year in a row. They extended their thanks and appreciation to the foundation for meeting the needs of poor people.
