Petroleum and Mineral Resources Minister Tarek el Mola has stressed that the law regulating gas market activities issued recently by a presidential decree will provide natural gas to customers at the local market to push forward economic growth.
In statements on Thursday, the minister underlined that the new law represents a step towards regulating gas market in Egypt and luring investments of the private sector.
It will contribute to launching industrial projects, promoting economic growth and creating competitiveness in the gas market, the minister reiterated.
The new law is one of the important axes in Egypt's strategy to be a regional hub for trade, boost industrial growth, improve investment atmosphere, el Mola underscored.
