The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, confirmed that Israel will continue to allow the transfer of food, and various goods and products to the Gaza Strip. However, at the same time it will continue to impose the naval blockade on the Gaza Strip, to prevent the smuggling of weapons and rockets to it. Israeli radio reported on Tuesday that Netanyahu made a phone call to the Israeli Chief of Staff, General Benny Jants, to congratulate him on successfully intercepting the French ship from “Freedom Flotilla 2” when it attempted to reach the Gaza Strip. The Prime Minister praised the performance of the Israeli naval commando unit, and other units that contributed to the safe seizure of the ship without anyone being injured. The French ship arrived at the port of Ashdod on Tuesday afternoon, where the crew and sixteen passengers were handed over to the police and the Israeli Ministry of the Interior. It should be noted that the French ship named "Dignity" was the last ship in the "Freedom Flotilla 2" that managed to leave the Greek ports, while the rest of the ships have all failed so far.
