Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met on Wednesday with President of the National Assembly of France François de Rugy as part of the foreign minister's current visit to Paris.
They discussed the latest developments of the Qatari crisis and efforts exerted by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain to correct the Qatari policies, Spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry Ahmed Abu Zeid said.
"No tolerance with any country involved in shedding blood of Egyptians," Shoukry said.
He also shed light on efforts exerted by Egypt to resume the Middle East peace talks between Palestinians and Israelis and settle the Libyan crisis.
Widely-spread terrorist groups in Libya pose a major threat to Egypt's national security, he noted.
Egypt seeks to boost cooperation between the Egyptian parliament and the National Assembly of France in the coming period, Shoukry said.
De Rugy, for his part, praised French-Egyptian relations, particularly in the military field.
