The National Organization for Military Production (NOMP) signed Thursday a cooperation protocol with Romanian TST Corporation in the field of the production of x-ray scanners technology for security devices.
The protocol aims to establish a production line of x-ray scanners in institutions affiliated to the NOMP through benefiting from the Romanian corporation's expertise in this field.
Minister of Military Production Mohamed Al Assar said the corporations affiliated to his ministry have already production lines of some components of the security devices, such as electronic gates, surveillance cameras, fire engines and equipment, as well as bullet proof vests.
Al Assar said the ministry is always keen to develop security system by benefiting from the expertise of leading global corporations in this field.
He said this comes in line with the ministry's efforts to serve state institutions and contribute to facing security challenges.
