A panel has been formed to investigate a collision of two trains that occurred in Alexandria on Friday, Transport Minister Hisham Arafat told MENA.
The train crash left 20 people dead and 84 others wounded, according to the Health Ministry.
Once finished, the results of the probe will be announced, Arafat said.
Those who are responsible for the train crash will be brought to justice, the minister said, adding that he followed up with Prime Minister Sherif Ismail the accident over the phone.
A report will be presented to the premier on the collision, he said, adding he is travelling to Alexandria to follow up the developments of the accident.
