Investment and International Cooperation Minister Sahar Nasr said her ministry has drawn up a plan to revive a number of investment zones, the first of which is the youth industries complex in Banha which covers an area of 50 feddans.
The minister made the remarks during her visit on Friday to the new investment zone on the regional road in Banha, Qalubiya.
She was accompanied by Transport Minister Hisham Arafat and Qalubiya Governor Mahmoud Ashmawy.
During her tour, the minister said that 70 percent of the new investment zone will be allocated for youths as part of plans to support small- and medium-sized businesses.
"While 30 percent of the zone will be earmarked for senior investors in order to achieve integration between youths and businessmen," she added.
