Prisoner transport vehicle did not come under fire

A well-placed security source told MENA on Sunday night that a prisoner transport vehicle did not come under fire on the Autostrad road in Saqr Quraish suburb of Cairo.
The source added that prisoners managed to break the vehicle's door lock in an attempt to flee.
Five prisoners managed to escape but three of them were rearrested, while a manhunt was launched for two fugitives, the source said.
