Upon directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani to alleviate the suffering of Arab nationals who are now stranded in Libya due to the events taking place there and to transport them to their countries, a ship carrying 686 passengers arrived at the port of Tobruk coming from Misurata. The ship is carrying Arabs from different nationalities including Jordanians, Sudanese, Egyptians and Libyans. Following the arrival of the ship at the port of Tobruk, the Egyptian, Jordanian and Sudanese passengers were transported to the Egyptian borders by land. This trip followed previous trips organized by the State of Qatar to transport Arab nationals stranded in Libya due the events taking place there.
