A renovated evangelical church in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Menya which was torched by Muslim Brotherhood terrorists in 2013 will be opened on Saturday.
Menya Governor Essam Badawi and Head of the Evangelical Church Rev. Dr Andrea Zaki will attend the inauguration ceremony alongside Muslim and Coptic leaderships, lawmakers and a representative from the Armed Forces Engineering Authority.
Under directives of the political leadership, the Armed Forces Engineering Authority rebuilt and restored all churches which were attacked by terrorists after breaking up the Rabaa el Adawiya sit-in.
This is the last evangelical church to be reopened after renovation.
