SDF to hands over Raqqa to local council
The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces
Damascus - Egypt Today
The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) said on Friday they will hand over administration of Raqqa city to a council made up of local officials and tribal leaders.
The SDF managed to evacuate 450,000 civilians from Daesh former de facto capital, Sky News channel reported.
The SDF urged regional and international powers to assist with the reconstruction of the city.
