Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry held a meeting on Wednesday with head of the French Senate Committee for Foreign Affairs, Defense and Armed Forces, Christian Cambon on means of promoting cooperation between the two countries.
The two sides also discussed issues of mutual concern.
Shoukry is due to meet later in the day with French National Assembly President François de Rugy within the framework of continued consultations between the two countries.
The talks will tackle bilateral cooperation alongside regional and international files.
