President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said on Monday that Al-Quds is witnessing regrettable incidents and that Israel should respect the feelings of Muslim toward their sanctuaries.
Asked about the latest wave of violence in the holy city, Sisi said "This must be brought to a halt and the feelings of Muslims must be respected."
"It's important not to take provocative measures for Muslims whether in Palestine, our region or the Islamic world," he told a session of the youth conference in Alexandria.
"Al-Aqsa Mosque is a very sacred matter for Muslims.. I hope the existing measures which provoked Muslims will be stopped," he said.
