A team of experts from UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), headed by Hanny Megally Arrived Tuesday in Sana'a for a ten-day mission during which they will gather information on the human rights situation in the country. General Manager of Organizations and International Reports at the Ministry of Human Rights Ismail Hamoud Al Jabri, who welcomed the UN mission, said in a statement to the Yemeni news agency (SABA) that the mission came to look closely at the situation of human rights and how it is affected by the events during the period of the crisis that gripped the country since the beginning of the year. During the visit, the mission will hold meetings with government officials and political forces as well as opposition parties and Human rights activists.
