The World Customs Organization (WCO) will hold the 78th session of the WCO Policy Commission in the Upper Egypt governorate Luxor in response to the recent mosque terror attack in Egypt, the WCO chief said.
Secretary General of the World Customs Organization Kunio Mikuriya said this is the first time for the commission to convene in Africa and the Middle East.
The commission's 30 members hailed upon arrival the security measures in Luxor.
Meanwhile, Mikuriya offered condolences to the Egyptian people and government over the victims of the Arish mosque attack.
The attack left 305 people dead and 128 injured
