An Irish academic delegation from Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, has hailed relations between Egypt and Ireland.
The delegation, led by Patrick Prendergast President & Provost of Trinity College Dublin, met with a number of Egyptian and Irish intellectuals and journalists on the sidelines of their visit Egypt.
They discussed the activities of the Irish university which is considered one of 100 best universities in the world.
The delegation members said they will meet during their visit to Egypt with officials of the American University in Cairo in the presence of the deputy ambassador of the Irish embassy in Cairo within the framework of partnership with world universities.
They exchanged with their Egyptian counterparts the viewpoints about regional and international developments as well as the relations between Egypt and Ireland.
